NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal has objected to the government's decision urging taxpayers to clear tax dues by Baisakh 25, 2078 B.S. (May 8, 2021). Issuing a statement today, NADA has heartily appealed to the government to extend the deadline till the current lockdown eases.The Inland Revenue Department which has issued a public notice requesting entrepreneurs and businessmen to file their tax returns and tax payments at the earliest has received a strong objection from the business fraternity, including the automobile sector.As the government has imposed a curfew in the capital for the safety of the general public in view of the growing number of new variants, the entrepreneurs are not able to submit tax and other duties to the Inland Revenue Department.Similarly, NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal has also requested the dealers to provide oxygen cylinders from their workshops to oxygen manufacturing industries.
